3. Strasbourg, France

Located about 300 miles east of beloved Paris, Strasbourg is a charming, less crowded spot to visit in France. Since the city is located at the border of France and Germany, you will find a cultural mix unlike anywhere else. The neighborhood of La Petit France is a must-see while there, and you can also tour the European Parliament building, as Strasbourg hosts the seat. 4. “The Islands”, Massachusetts

The islands south of Cape Cod are collectively referred to as “The Islands” and each have their own distinct feel. Marta’s Vineyard, Nantucket, the Elizabeth Islands and several smaller, more remote islands dot the area. It’s fairly easy to get around the islands after taking a ferry from Hyannis, Massachusetts or a short flight on Cape Air, so while in the area you can pick one of “The Islands” to stay on and explore more deeply, or see them all! Our pick if we could only visit one? Nantucket, of course!
