Due to the way all-inclusive resorts operate, many are uniquely set up to make social distancing a breeze. All your food, drink and entertainment are handled in one setting for starters, and many resorts have private bungalows or cabins. The capacity controls many resorts have in place also make choosing an all-inclusive resort a smart and responsible choice this year.

Bungalows Key Largo - Florida Keys
Bungalows Key Largo is one of the few tropical all-inclusive resorts in the U.S., making it easy to visit without an international flight or a passport. This Florida Keys property currently has limited guest capacity across its 135 private bungalows and 12 sprawling acres. Other distancing-friendly amenities include spacing in restaurants and spaced arrival times. This all-inclusive property is also adults-only.
Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa - Saint Maarten
St. Martin is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort has a top spot on the island. This all-inclusive resort has several new measures meant to improve safety, including increased spacing in restaurants and bars, physical barriers to decrease unwanted interactions and a new, larger beach area perfect for guests who want to space out. This property also has an adults-only section called Sonesta Ocean Point Resort, which can help you limit interactions and enjoy a more upscale experience.
Flathead Lake Lodge – Montana
Montana’s Flathead Lake Lodge is an all-inclusive guest ranch on the shores of Flathead Lake in Bigfork, Montana. This 2,000-acre property makes it easy for guests to spread out, although the resort also creates a resort “bubble” for each week’s guests. Outdoor meals are available, and many included activities like horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking are social distancing-friendly already.
Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa - St. Lucia
The Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa in beautiful St. Lucia offers accommodations with limited guest capacity for both couples and families. Guests who visit will find 36 couples-only private Plunge Pool Suites, perfectly spaced seating and loungers in public areas and full-service dining (no buffets). Guests can also enjoy 24-hour room service, take-out dining options and an array of outdoor fitness activities like yoga and pool aerobics.
Canyon Madness Ranch - New Mexico
Opening in April of 2021, Canyon Madness Ranch is a new all-inclusive property in Northeastern New Mexico. This property only has 8 rooms with a maximum occupancy of 16 guests of any given time, yet it sits on 14,000 acres with lots of space to hike or ride horses. Other outdoor activities include archery, photography, shooting and more.
Grand Velas Resorts – Mexico
Grand Velas Resorts in destinations like Los Cabos, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit have limited capacity as low as 50% based on the destination, and their Home to Grand Extended Stay Program offers distancing-friendly perks on longer stays. Added benefits can include a private beach area, private airport transportation, a 24-hour personal concierge and more.
Radisson Blu Punta Cana - Dominican Republic
The Radisson Blu Punta Cana is the first all-inclusive property associated with the Radisson Blu brand. This property boasts 164 suites, including condo-style accommodations that give guests some extra space. You can even book a two-bedroom suite with a whirlpool and kitchen area, as well as your own washer and dryer. Guests can also enjoy private beachside barbecues and outdoor yoga, in addition to relaxation in a tropical paradise.
