4. Powerscourt Waterfall is a quick train trip away from the country’s hub of Dublin, and a must see! Located in County Wicklow, it’s the second highest waterfall in the country and should without a doubt be added to any tourist’s list.

5. Irish Pubs are non-negotiable while visiting the county, and The Temple Bar is just one of the many countless options you have. Venturing out of Dublin and exploring the smaller towns around the island will give you many, many options of traditional Irish pubs to pop into. Bottoms Up!

6. If you’ve tried Guinness beer here at home and believe you are not a fan, give it another try in Ireland. The taste is actually much different and may surprise you with how smooth it is! 8. Ireland is a religious country with close to 80% of the population identifying as Catholic. But you don’t have to be Catholic to experience the spiritual feeling the country offers. The architecture of the churches are stunning and can take your breath away.
