Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

With jaw-dropping viewpoints and numerous historical attractions, this idyllic waterfront town has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Sip fruity cocktails at one of the busy bars by the pier. Make the most of the great shopping scene. Charlotte Amalie has shops, markets and historic attractions aplenty to entertain the throngs of cruise ship passengers who disembark here daily. Get quality Caribbean liquor at affordable prices, ride the tramway to the top of Flag Hill and scour the seas for pirates from historic Blackbeard’s Castle.

Maho Beach, St. John

Voted a “Visitors Favorite Beach”, and it’s no surprise since Maho beach has it all. From its iconic coconut palm fringed white sand beach, light surf, shallow entry and ease of access – Maho deserves it’s fame. The narrow sandy beach has plenty of sun and shade. The sandy bottom extends out about 20 yards – making it a wonderful beach to wade, swim, float and hang out! And the shallow sandy shoreline is a great spot for kids and young children to play and make sand castles.

Trunk Bay Beach, St. John

Nearly 50 years after Laurence S. Rockefeller donated Trunk Bay to the National Park Service, making it part of Virgin Islands National Park, the beach and offshore coral reefs remain among St. John's most breathtaking and well-preserved attractions.

Considered the most beautiful beach on the island and often called the most pristine in the Caribbean, Trunk Bay's clear, warm waters and silky coral sands draw tourists in droves, and its well-maintained facilities include chair and snorkel equipment rentals and showers.

St. Thomas

Like all of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas has plenty of opportunities to lounge on the beach, splash in the sea, or amp it up with watersports. Charlotte Amalie swells with Danish colonial architecture and pirate legend. Shiver ye timbers at Blackbeard’s Castle, then work up an appetite by climbing the historic 99 Steps, constructed from the ballast bricks of 18th century Danish ships.

Honeymoon Beach, St. John

Located in the Virgin Islands National Park, Honeymoon Beach was once considered a well-kept secret among locals. While still very secluded, the romantically named beach has begun to claim the attention of travelers visiting the U.S. Virgin Island of St. John.

Cinnamon Bay, St. John

Cinnamon Bay is a picturesque coastal stretch known for its excellent snorkeling conditions.
